My first job after college was analyzing geospatial data for the National Anti-Poverty Commission in the Philippines. These are some maps that accompanied my data reports, which were used for official press releases and for deliberating on policy actions for programs on women’s rights and welfare, infrastructure financing, and disaster response.

My fascination with data brought me to campus journalism at the University of the Philippines where I was the associate editor of the weekly student paper. This set of maps on the Association of Southeast Nations (ASEAN) was published in the Collegian in 2017, when the Philippines hosted the biannual ASEAN Summit.
